A cast iron variation on the open fire, in a contemporary matt black finish. The Aga Rembrandt has a beautifully ribbed canopy hood and front plate. With a heat output of up to 3.6kW, the Aga Rembrandt is far more efficient than conventional hearths, as it has a controllable air input at the bottom of the fire door and an adjustable throat plate inside the canopy, which reduces heat loss up the chimney, and ensures fuel efficiency.

It is also available with an optional boiler which will provide up to 5kW of energy to heat your water and/or run 4 radiators. The Much Wenlock Classic is a medium sized Solid Fuel and Wood stove with a nominal heat output of 5.5kW (with a maximum output of 8.3kW).The new Aga Much Wenlock Classic stove has an incredible 77% efficiency. It is suitable for burning wood, coal, anthracite and peat briquettes. It has a removable shaker grate, ash pan, fire fence and front ash-tray. As well as being simple and easy to use, it can be left to burn overnight, so that you can come down to a lovely warm room in the morning. It has the same chrome wire handle and air inlet control as the Little Wenlock and will look equally at home in a traditional or contemporary setting.
